Design Cartel Pty Ltd is a full service business providing customers with complete or individual services of:

• Product Design & Development
• Sourcing (local and offshore)
• Manufacturing Management

The company is focused on the Action Sports and Marine industries and generally offers its services to the following three business groups:

1. Companies and manufacturers seeking to broaden their existing product range.  These firms seek additional creative input into their product lines. Or seek to create new product lines to complement their existing products.  Design Cartel acts as a design consultant, creating products intended to reach and exceed sales expectations.
2. Distribution centers and retail distribution stores which desire to purchase private label products. Design Cartel provides conceptual product ideas and manages the production and timely delivery of these goods.
3. Established consumer brands which currently do not provide certain products and accessories for their customers.  Design Cartel assists these clients in executing line extensions.  These companies have expertise in related product lines but choose to outsource these services rather than add costly infrastructure within their companies.

 

DIRECTORS BACKGROUND

George Cant, founder and director of Design Cartel Pty Ltd, brings to the company over 8 years of professional product design experience in the Action Sports and Marine industries.

• Designing and manufacturing snowboards and snowboarding accessories for Canadian manufacturer, Option Snowboards and their international OEM customer base of leading snowboard brands.
• Designing and managing the development of wakeboard boat accessories for a Canadian company, and their OEM customer base of world class boat building companies. 
• George also graduated from one of Australia's leading regional Universities in 1999 with a Bachelors Degree of Industrial Design
